I asked Jeff Green to share a little about ZHD with me. I love to highlight small business. This is his story.
These are his words. Creative director/designer with close to 15 years of experience. I’ve been self-employed many of those years which has allowed me to work with some amazing clients and be exposed to multiple industries. I also have my two assistants, London (Boxer) and Jax (German Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix) to help with product testing and designs. Their current favorites are the K9 patches and t-shirts.
We offer high-quality morale patches and t-shirts. We’re looking forward to expanding our apparel line and as always, delivering new morale patches on a regular basis.
We officially launched in April of 2015. They idea originally came to me in 2007, when I wanted to design military-themed t-shirts. If you remember, the graphic t-shirt market was on absolute fire at the time. As you may also remember, the subsequent market crash knocked out so many of the higher-end men’s stores and we were forced to put everything on hold until recently.
We’re based in Nashville, TN with our shipping and fulfillment based in Spring Hill, TN. You can find us through our website – www.zerohourusa.com, on Twitter – @zerohourusa, and on Pinterest.
I started Zero Hour to help raise the funds greatly needed to support our veterans. We work with several organizations (Active Heroes, GBF, Navy SEAL foundation, Paws and Stripes, and DAV). We’ve also done a test-run with Stephanie McGrew of creating a custom design based on her idea to raise money for one of her selected charities which was incredible successful.
Thanks to all the incredible people of Ruckmall/GORUCK we’ve been able to raise over $500 for veterans in our first year. We plan to top $1000 this year.
